Coach Selection

• Brams United will select coaches who demonstrate good sportsmanship and show respect for the rules, players, opponents and officials at all times.
   

Most Valuable Qualities of a Coach

• The ability to ensure that all players have an enjoyable season playing soccer.
• The ability to ensure equal participation and playing time for all players, regardless of ability.
• The ability to be a role model to players and parents at all times, by both words and actions.

Coaches Responsibilities

• To have the players on the field, ready to play at game time.
• To have at least one female assistant to attend to injured players. (No male coaches are to attend to injured players.)
• To hold practices if gyms are available and coach the team at games.
• To be responsible for the behaviour of the players, parents and spectators of the team.
• To abide by and respect the rules, players, officials and opponents at all times.
• To not monitor other teams, other coaches or the referees.
• To look after club property and return equipment at the end of the season.
• To be a role model for parents and children by word and by example.

Rep Coaches

• Coaching Level 3 is required for all Rep head coaches. More details are available on the OSA website.
